If you backed the Anchor Edition of Master and Commander on Kickstarter, but did not add the custom clamshell box, this is your opportunity to add it before you book ships. 
 
The spine of each box will feature an engraved label made from a thin (2mm) piece of teak that was salvaged from HMS Victory. This small but tangible connection with the oldest in-commission naval vessel is an added bonus for those who have already purchased the box, and I am happy to offer it to you, as well. I will not have photos of this label until later this week.
The interior of the box features a map of a portion of the Mediterranean Sea from the same 1803 source as the map used in the endpapers of the book. It is presented as a "tryptic" across the two boxes and the spine of box.
 Each box will feature the same leather and marbled paper used in each unique copy of the book itself.

Adding this box to your final payment for the Anchor Edition will delay shipping by 4 to 6 weeks while we finish making the boxes by hand in our studio. Look for delivery early in the new year.
